Why are gals so obsessed with sparkle and glitter? When it comes to the holidays and a winter wedding, there is ample opportunity to sneak in even more glitter than normal. From sequined accessories to sparkly make-up, a little sparkle can add just the right amount of interest to your wedding. Here are some ideas!
- Glitter Vases: This can be a DIY project if you’re short on cash, or you can pass it along to your wedding planner. All you need are clear vessels with smooth straight sides (like a Mason Jar), glitter, a foam brush, and Modge Podge. Simply, apply the Modge Podge to the inside of the vase with the foam brush, and dump in a generous amount of glitter. Roll the vase around in your hands to get it to stick, and voila! This is a great project because you can choose glitter in colors that complement your overall look.
- Jewelry: There are so many ways to impart a bit of sparkle on your wedding day, but in no place is this easier than with jewelry. Take chances with your jewelry so it stands out against your white or ivory dress. A gorgeous tiara or headband that’s adorned with jewels or sequins will help you shine throughout the evening!
- Bouquet: It may seem like an unlikely place, but you can absolutely glam up your bouquet with a bit of sparkle! One idea is to highlight your new name by adding your new initials in crystals among the flowers. Or you can simply add a gorgeous broach to the handle of your bouquet for a quick and easy touch.
